Trina Mizer has been working in the mental health field for nearly a decade. She earned her LCSW (License Clinical Social Worker) in 2019 and has experience working with people from all backgrounds, from young children to older adults. Trina uses traditional therapy interventions such as cognitive and dialectical techniques, as well as creative interventions including nature and eco techniques, digital play, and creative processing.
Trina is a native to the Ozarks region and has a passion for helping people in her community. She completed a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA developing senior service programs in the St. Louis region. She completed her BSW at Missouri State University in 2012 and her MSW at University of Missouri - St. Louis in 2015.
Trina enjoys hiking and kayaking, playing video games, and spending time with her family. Trina has a strong understanding of chronic illness and chronic pain through her experience with psoriatic disease. Trina is also autistic and loves celebrating the strengths of other autistic people.
